Ali Jassim Family Cancer Research Fund
Inspired by the work being done at the UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive 癌症中心, Ali Jassim and his family have taken on one of medicine's greatest challenges — eradicating cancer.
The Ali Jassim Family Cancer Research Fund at the 癌症中心 promotes patient-centered innovation in discovery science and cancer care, providing the tools needed to advance some of the most promising work in the field. The $10 million gift to establish the Fund has built the Ali Jassim Family Cancer Research Suite as well as created the Ali Jassim Family Cancer Research Program.

Ali Jassim Family Cancer Research Program
The Ali Jassim Family Cancer Research Program invests in specific researchers and physician-scientists whose efforts represent meaningful steps forward in the fight against cancer. The key aims of the Ali Jassim Family Cancer Research Fund are: Solving the mystery of how cancer begins in some cells, 但其他人没有, and progresses through the body; Developing personalized strategies for prevention, treatment and survivorship based on individual cancer risk; Understanding specific cancer types at unprecedented levels to improve the way they are diagnosed and treated; Harnessing the body's own immune system to treat and control the disease.
